✯ Depression among the homeless people is higher then non homeless people. 

✯ 22-46% of adults and young homeless people have attempted suicide and up to 61% have suicidal thoughts. 

✯ LGBT homeless youth have a higher rate of committing suicide (62%) then heterosexual homeless youth (29%)

✯ Only about 9% of ALL homeless youth have access to mental health services

✯ Mental health problems are 11 times higher for homeless youth than non homeless.

✯ Suicide is the leading cause of death with street youth
