Mental Health & Cancer - Mental Health Awareness Retreat

October Is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Getting a cancer diagnose can have various effects on a person mentally and it varies from person to person. Fear, Anxiety, and Depression are some of the most common reactions.

1 in 4 people with cancer have clinical depression

Clinical depression can impair functioning and it may lead the person with cancer to be less likely to follow their cancer treatment plan. The good news is that clinical depression can be treated.

Finding someone you can talk to may be of great help and healing. Being able to sort through your feelings and questions.
